Here are some helpful hints and processes used at Kurlz & Kutz to get the best experience out of the products. Following these processes will help you to get the best use of the FLA range and the best results for your Little Angel’s hair.
Process 1: Shampoo and Conditioner
Step 1 - Shampoo and condition the hair using our Hydrating Shampoo and Moisturising Conditioner always using downward strokes on small and manageable sections of hair.
Step 2 - Gently wrap the hair with a dry towel to absorb excess water. No vigorous rubbing to avoid damaging and tangling your Little Angel’s hair.
Step 3 - Apply a mixture of our Hair Oil and Shea Butter to damp hair, making sure to part the hair into small and manageable sections to seal-in the moisture. Not forgetting to use downward strokes as you apply the mixture.
Step 4 - Style as desired

Process 2: Intense Moisture Boost and Detangling
Step 1 – Shampoo hair with our Hydrating Shampoo using downward strokes and rinse off shampoo
Step 2 – Apply a generous amount of our Intense Hydration Treatment and detangle the hair in small manageable sections. Rinse-off once hair is thoroughly detangled and knot-free.
Step 3 – Apply a mixture of our Hair Oil and Shea Butter to damp hair, making sure to part the hair into small and manageable sections to seal-in the moisture. Remember your downward strokes as you apply the mixture.
Step 4 - Style as desired
Step 2 – Apply a generous amount of our Intense Hydration Treatment and detangle the hair in small manageable sections. Rinse-off once hair is thoroughly detangled and knot-free.
Step 3 – Apply a mixture of our Hair Oil and Shea Butter to damp hair, making sure to part the hair into small and manageable sections to seal-in the moisture. Remember your downward strokes as you apply the mixture.
Step 4 - Style as desired
Process 3: Moisturising Dry Hair
Step 1 - Mix 1/4 of our Softening and Detangling Leave-in Conditioner and 3/4 water in a spray bottle.
Step 2 - Spritz the afro hair until it is damp.
Step 3 - Apply a mixture of our Hair Oil and Shea Butter to damp hair, making sure to part the hair into small and manageable sections to seal-in the moisture. Remember your downward strokes as you apply the mixture.
Step 4 - Style as desired By definition hydration is the process of treating with water while moisturising is to make something less dry. Therefore, you must both hydrate AND moisturise. Water is always the best to hydrate your hair and conditioners make the best moisturisers.

Use our Detangling & Conditioning spray directly on the hair and the scalp to allow the nourishing oils to work their magic on the hair and the scalp while your Little Angel maintains their protective hairstyle.
